I just have to declare that this is one of the best blogging systems that I’ve ever seen!

I’m Jarene Chuang, a property advisor from Singapore.

I started this blog, with the intent to inform my buyers and sellers about the what’s-going-on in the District 15 and 16 (East Coast Area) real estate market – prices, trends and happenings – the intimate details in East Coast that every new buyer and seller wants to know. It seems like everywhere I go, everyone is talking about real estate!

I am a realtor from Electronic Realty Associates (ERA) Pte Ltd. Currently, I focus mainly in the selling, buying and rental of HDB flats in Ang Mo Kio (www.angmokioproperty.wordpress.com) and Toa Payoh, and Condominiums in the East Coast Area (District 15/ 16) and Orchard and Newton areas in District 9 and 10. With my intensive real estate experience, I consider myself to be “advisors” to my clients and friends.

Here are some questions often asked by my clients regarding this blog. I shall put them up here so that I can answer them.

1. Why do you use a blog when most agents are using a website?

There are many reasons why I use a blog instead of a website. I had a website before. It has its uses. However, I find that a blog is more personalized and I can have direct interaction with my clients. Secondly, I can update my blogs daily so that my information stays ”fresh”. My clients will have the first hand information from me. Thirdly, there’s so much information that by the time I finished my website, it will be months before it is up. This is definitely faster for my clients to receive the information!

2. What about the system that most agents have? You know, the search for the properties that are currently listed for sale.

Let me tell you a secret…. Most of those systems, are not even updated! Have you ever wonder why is it that whenever you called / email the agents, they’ll tell you that the unit is sold already? Unfortunately for real estate, there is still a lot of “manual labour” that needs to be done. And if you actually check, most of the agents have the same system so no matter which website you go to, there are no “new listings” per say! Because the system is the same! And I have access to these systems. The difference is that I do not waste your time!

3. Ok. You are right. I’ve tried a few websites and they’re the same. That’s relavant for buyers. What about sellers? I want to ensure that my properties are exposed!
